Hannover 96 !

British born and bred... that's me !... but don't get me wrong, I have a huge respect for the German influence in my life from my German Mother... I also have lots of German family and friends all over Germany.

I was very lucky that my Dad worked for BEA (!) and I got to travel to visit my Grand Parents in Hannover as a UAM at least once a year from a very young age.

I spent so many a happy time with my relatives, especially my Grand Parents and my bad (good!) influence of an Uncle Martin.

Google street view has obviously not hit Germany yet, so I cant send a picture of the flat they lived in... but how random is this... there is a stable attached to the flat with horses in ! (and no fields near by to ride in ! !).

Anyway, the main reason for this post is to take this opportunity to wish my Uncle Martin a speedy recovery from his recent surgery for throat cancer and tell him that I love him loads... (every time I close my eyes I still see that stupid carved coconut monkey and "four seasons development" poster from his bedroom that I kipped in when I visited !)... love you loads Martin x

Martin... for you... "harwich schizer" and "Dosenöffner" lol ;-)
