The weather in Prague

Is 16 oC and sunny ..........

Next week !

Today we are flying off to -3 0C, rain and snow !

I think I better pack a coat :-)

The rats are already at Hotel La Pauline, and the dog will join them this lunch time.

Haydon and Jade are also looking forward to the break.

We fly with Czech Airways this afternoon (never been with them before !)... and are staying at the Hotel Seven Days, its a 4 star place in the middle of Prague, main reason for choosing this hotel was the free breakfast ;-)

I'll be taking my phone to get some pictures of the trip... i'll post these up on Sunday.

Went to visit Chris

Jon and I went to visit Chris yesterday, can't believe it is almost a year since he passed away.

The weather kindly gave us a gap in the rain.

We laid some flowers and each said a silent prayer.

Mick was also going to join us, but unfortunately a solid M25 forced him to turn round and head for home.

Max joined us for a while, he lives near the cemetery so visits every week to tend the grave (its good to know he is keeping an eye on him). He's says there are always new flowers on the grave so he's not the only one visiting... and I'm sure come Friday the grave will be a wash of colour with other flowers and messages.

Jon and I then grabbed some ham, egg and chips and chewed the fat... it was good to catch up again...

Its been a...

A bedroom for Jade
A bedroom for Haydon
A dining room

But now its my xbox room... sorry, I mean office !.

Its still work in progress... so needs a clean, floor needs a mop, more paint needs to go on the walls... but you get the idea.

The desk, shelves and white board were from eBay... excellent bargains, did the whole room for under £150 including paint and white board.

Had a mare with the TV placement ... to stick it in the corner would have cost a fortune in extra long cables... so it's next to the xbox and Mac again... which turns out to be handy for two player gaming and keeping it out of view by passers by.

I'll be swapping it for a 32" TV once the extension is done.

Its amazing how camera's cannot cope with the red colour... my 360 webcam is totally phased by it... all the pictures I send come out fuzzy... I might have to paint the wall it points at a cream colour one day...
